Yesterday my sweet sister-in-law, Becky came over and signed me on as a new Avon Lady. Yep, watch out! I may be at your door one day.
Not really..
I don't have time to do door to door; I work full-time with 4 kids at home. I'll be selling here and there at work, online..etc.. Where I can find the time. Oh and of course I can sell stuff to you. No pressure now, BUT there are some really cute stuff on sale for Christmas time.. Don't worry (?) I'll put my link on the side bar and constantly remind you what great buys there are. I wouldn't want my Jland friends to miss out on 1/2 sale on Skin So Soft baby oil, ya' know..
When I was younger, we had an Avon lady who came door to door. Her name was Connie, and she really became a friend of the family. She even was invited to my wedding, and she came. She gave me this beautiful china plate, that I still have on display. It was from my first marriage, and over 20 years, but it's so pretty, I can't put it away--it was one of my favorite gifts. Since then I've bought many other plates from Avon; especially the Christmas ones--I think my collection starts form 1983--not sure. I also bought some from Princess Crystal too. I have a LOT of plates; not suitable for throwing. Most of them are put away until Christmas.
In other news, I have about 20 something people coming over today for a party. The jump house people are going to be here at 1pm; Andrew starts his flag football practice at 1:45, Liz goes to work and gets out at 3, and guests will be coming over around that time--food will be ready at 5pm, and I have cupcakes, salads to make and a backyard to tidy.. I will casually leave Avon brochures around the house.. Sneaky, I know. Got to dash away from the computer now... Pictures of jumping people coming later!

I used to be a certified Avon Beauty Consultant. That consisted of some classes and getting certified. I loved selling Avon and did it full time. I did really well money wise, but when my son became ill at age 10, I retired. I do miss it at times. Good Luck.

I used to sell AVON, too. Surprised? Those ANEW products are pretty darn good and who can resist a billion different scents of bubble bath? Oh, and I sold many many of those paint-on lip colors (I forgot what they are called) by telling women that I tested this myself: They stay on through a blow job. I'm not kidding. That stuff is like what they paint battleships with.
