Happy Administrative Assistant Day

This morning I was greeted with a cute pot of miniature roses and a very sweet card on my desk from my co-workers.  It's Profeesional Administrative Assistant Day---the politically "correct" way to say, Secretaries Day.  They are all taking us for lunch--I'm thrilled because they are actually taking us to somewhere I like to eat!  Last year was a potluck----can you say "eww?"  There are also cakes, and bagels, strawberries, grapes, orange juice and Starbucks Coffee...  Can you say YUM?!

Last night Lizzy and I had a blast!  Mamma Mia was truly an awesome experience!!  It was nothing like the movie set in Australia that I saw years ago.  LOVED it!  I was surrounded by a multitude of other Abba fans..  I actually heard a GUY say he "loved" the song Super Trooper!  I heard songs I hadn't heard in years.  I heard songs that made me laugh, and a few that actually made me close to crying.  It was fabolous!!!  My daughter had a lot of fun too.  Lizzy did a lot of theatre in high school, and after watching the show, she confessed that she missed being on stage, and was a little depressed about it.  She really has a love for performing-it made her think a little.  Of course I took pictures before the show, and of course I will have to post them later because they are on my daughter's camera.  The show started at 8, and didn't get out until a quarter to 11 pm.  During the interval I got myself a Mamma Mia t-shirt, and we shared a bag of M&Ms...  We ate dinner at 11 pm--we were starving...  Thank God In & Out is open that late.  A cheeseburger never tasted so good!

I'm having an awesome month.  :)
