Just a Coincidence, or a Message From BEYOND?

Remember that entry I wrote last week about the lights going out in my building, including a 5 mile radius around the building?  If you don't--here is what I wrote:

We (Me and my co-worker, Dee) started talking about writing, and don't ask me how all that writing talk ended up in a conversation about voo doo dolls, witches and ghosts.  

Five minutes later.  The lights flicker.

The lights come back on...

Flicker again. 

The lights stay off.  No power.  The building is dead silent with only the voices of my fellow co-workers moaning and cheering. 

I immediately ran into Dee's office, and told her that the "spirits were angry.." 

We crossed ourselves and giggled.  Of course, our building wasn't the only building without power.  The streetlights weren't working, and the business all around in a 5 mile radius had no power.  I went to get my coffee, and then sat at my desk, staring at the walls.  I tried not to think about all the readings my friend, the medium had held in that same room.  I tried, but couldn't help thinking about it.  I crossed myself again.

Okay, now I'm sure it was pure coincidence, right?  The only thing is, my boss just told me that NOBODY knows why half the city lost power that morning.  It's still a mystery. 

Okay, there is more.  Dee comes in this morning to tell me and boss lady another story.  She was at the gym with a friend, and they were having another similar conversation (about ghosts/spirits-family stories) with her friend in the bathroom.  They were both sitting in the stall, when suddenly...

The lights flickered...once, then again... 

The lights were off for about 5 minutes--the whole entire 1st floor of the gym lost power. 

My friend Dee told us that she was terrified.  She screamed, and ran out of the bathroom in tears.  She was totally freaked, and thinks her grandma on the "other side" was sending her a message. 

Pretty freaky, hey?
