Yep. It's official... Rich and I are going to Vegas at the end of August. Yep..August. Sure it's hotter than hell in Vegas in August, but we are going to have fun anyway. His whole family is meeting there to see his brother. He lives in New York, and he hasn't been able to come down to this side of the country in years, so we are going to meet up with him. I'm looking forward to it. It will be nice to meet him (never have), and get this--3 days without our kids. Yippee! Rich will be playing blackjack with his mom, and I will be looking for Elvis.
It's Tuesday, but it's hump day for me. Piles of work at work, mixed in with getting my youngest into kindergarten-war on the school district-more on that later. These 10 hour days aren't too bad; I'm looking forward to Friday. I have a birthday party for Andrew to plan--he is turning the big 14. Whoohooo!!
