Busy..busy..busy

It's been a busy week..at work, home..etc...  Just playing catch up with all the crappola I have at work..and I think I've got to that point.  I just bombarded some co-workers with new file cases to increase their work loads.  I'm sure they are thrilled that I've returned!  The boxes of files and stacks of new court papers have finally left my desk, and because of this I am glad!  I must admit however, that doing the non-stop paperwork, even only part time, really can take it's toll.  It is kind of creepy when I find myself remembering the name of each case I entered, or when my hand magically finds the file I'm looking for in the file room.  Has that ever happened to you?  I mean, you suspect a file is in one area, and you actually grab the file you were looking for?!  Or, stranger still, when your hands seem to work faster than your brain; when your fingers reach for the keys on the keyboard as if they have little minds of their own...  It is a little strange. 

Oh, and I must mention the "charming" phone interaction I had with the ex-husband the other day.  It is so strange how the mere sound of his voice can send me right down into another well.  Errrgg...  Did I mention how I detest liars?  I don't know what is worse, a liar who just lies and forgets what they lie about, or someone who just lies and totally live contrary to what they claim.  It kind of questions the intelligence of the person who is being lied to, and that just drives me insane, and it also makes me want to throw things, or better yet, throw heavy things at a certain person.  Fortunately, NJ is much too far away to have things thrown, and for this I am very grateful.  Besides, I've already written 2 letters, which I have promptly discarded after coming to the conclusion that no matter what I write, it's not going to change anything.  Nope-just a way of release, that is all, but this is good.  I shouldn't have to prove anything, so why--perhaps maybe only for myself. 

Anyway...enough with ranting and raving over the loser.  Taylor Hicks just won American Idol, is that great or what?!  Okay, it wasn't my favorite show, but it was something to watch now that Amazing Race is over.  Now there is nothing to watch.  GOOD EXCUSE to not watch the tube, and more reason to go out and do some walking now that the weather is sooooo nice :)  Perhaps I will take a nice long one tomorrow near the ocean!  YAHOOOO!!
