Happy Monday/Martin Luther King Day

Happy Monday--if there is such a thing.. HA HA HA..

I'm home today due to it being Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  It's been a 4 day weekend for me, but not a real productive one.  My youngest is still sick, and now hubby man is sick.  Both have been coughing for the last three nights.  Sharing a bed with both of them, I'm bound to get sick too, but so far, so good.  I'm still okay. 

The weather here has been cold, and rainy.  Good day to stay home and make cookies---did that already this morning.  It's 46 degrees outside at the moment. That may sound warm to some of you outside of California, but it feels pretty darn cold for me.  At night it goes down to the 30's.  Don't laugh.  In the words of my son, Andrew after being on the east coast for a week, "This weather is nothing!"  Yep, he is back wearing shorts again. 

I'm going to have to post some pictures they took.  The only problem is, it's all on my son's memory card on his movie camera, and I have no idea how to take it out so I can load it on the computer.  I've scanned a few pictures--my scanner is dirty and the quality of the pictures isn't very good however.

Andrew & Liz in Atlantic City, NJ    Is that my son, in pants?!  The pictures are so small...sorry..  Is it true you can't swim at the beach because it's so dirty?  That's what the kids were told anyway. 

Poor hubby came home sick from work.. (He NEVER misses work), only to be called back again to do a job that is due that was not on his desk, and he of course is the only person who can program it, because naturally he is the ONLY person who knows how to program.  Poor guy.. 

Well, I got another get away planned for next month.  We are going to spend the night at a hotel not too far away--the hotel that we first met.  (We met in front of the nightclub at the hotel.)  Something to look forward to...it will our Valentines gift to eachother.
