Sometimes Wearing Pink Can Be Dangerous..

Above is a picture that was taken in August, 2006 with the ever famous "Pink Lady" man I wrote about in yesterday's entry.  I've posted this picture before, but I decided to post it again because per your request.  I'm there on his left with Nicholas in the stroller, and that is my cousin Tania to Pinky's right.  I can't believe this picture is almost a few years old, but believe me, he hasn't changed a bit.  He was wearing the same outfit a few months ago when I was waiting in line to see a movie.

No one really knows why he does this, but I heard someone say that he is actually a retired engineer who used to work in the Silicon Valley (Santa Clara, California).  He is working on a book on human behavior.  I'm sure he is experiencing a lot of interesting data during his time baby stepping up and down the mall.  I can only imagine.

It's really sad how easy we can judge someone by the way they dress.  I really don't want to be descriptive here, but I know of a younger fellow who constantly gets beat up because he chooses to dress a certain way.  He is an artistic kid.  He creates his own style of t-shirts, and artisically paints his shoes with portraits of famous people a la Andy Warhol.  Because of this, however, this guy is a constant target.  He got beat up the other day by three stupid teenagers because of  of his pink painted tennis shoes.

Sometimes it's dangerous to wear pink.

Oh yeah, it's Thankful Thursday...

1.  No recent tantrum attacks from my precious four year old.  He has been willingly going to pre-school all this week.

2.  I'm thankful for the spring like weather with no rain!

3.  I'm thankful for the longer days of sunshine.  It's not dark by the time I get home from work.

4.  My daughter's desire to drive.  We are going to take her on the highway this weekend.  Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

5.  Healthy kids..family..etc...and the dirty dishes.

What an interesting way to get reactions for a book! Very interesting...we have someone like that around here.  He doesn't dress in Pink but he stands on the same corner of our city every day and chats about how the presidents are ruining the world and about the war...and sometimes about baby conditioner or baby shampoo.  HE used to be a lawyer and something happened to him and now all he does is ramble.  It's pretty interesting to sit with the window open at the lights and listen to him.  We call him the Burger King man.  He sits at the BK corner.  Everyone knows who that is when he's mentioned.   Nice seeing your picture too,  your very pretty.   Love your hair.

What an interesting concept to use, engaging human behavioral. I have an idea that book is going to be extremely interesting. (Hugs) Indigo

I wanted to add it's sad the kid gets beat up all the time for being expressive. We don't have enough people in this world with creative ideas and artistic endeavors. (Hugs) Indigo

I don't see a pic...  Too bad society fears what/who they don't understand.  Hehehe...hugs and prayers on your weekend drive. ;)  C.
