Well, how is your weekend going? Happy Memorial Day!!
I couldn't sleep last night, but I got to sleep in late. I did some housework, and I plan on driving down to visit my dad's grave today. He was a Korean War veteran, and he always made a point of paying respect to our veterans. I will more than likely visit my uncle, who was a WWII veteran, and of course, see my brother---may be my grandparents--may be not--that may be a little too overwhelming. A visit to the cemetary is always a little emotional for me. Anyway, if you see a veteran out there, or someone in active military, give them a hug (if they let you.) I've hugged my hubby already, and fortunately, my niece Kassandra is back from home from Italy. I saw her yesterday at a barbecue birthday party at my brother's house. It's nice to see her home. Her next stop is Alaska. Well, at least it's closer!
May was a hectic, stressful month; but I think everything is going to be okay. I'm looking foward to June--graduations and birthdays. My son Andrew is graduating the 8th grade this year, and is also celebrating a birthday--the big 14. He is counting the days. He is excited about gifts (of course). I also have a nephew and niece graduating from high school. Busy...busy...busy... Oh, and soccer season is starting..
I saw the above commercial on ESPN when hubby was watching Nascar.. I love it!! I can't wait to see the Portuguese "dance" again!! :)
