Tonight history is certainly being made! (Of course, if Hillary was elected as a nominee for President, history would have been made as well--oh well, sorry Clinton supporters!) It is an exciting time in America-not only for African Americans, but for all people of color and different nationalities. America is a "rainbow" and all I can say is, it's about time.
As I wrote in my previous entry, I've been emerged into the 1800's (thanks to my son's history assignment/project), and to see the new president nominee on the T.V. screen is so surreal. How would Howard Hopps react to today's events? Sure, Howard Hopp is a ficticious character brought on by my son's imagination, but I can't help but think. I see this day in a new prespective, and it gives me a sense of hope.
Now that the delegate votes have been counted, it's time to think and compare, and choose the best candidate. It's not a contest based on color-it is a serious decision that needs to be made based on our values and beliefs.

I'm not so happy. I'm a republican, but I really admire Hillary for her tough stance on running for president.
Enjoy your evening.

I hope that he puts Clinton on as VP...that would seal the deal for the Dems. It'd be a landslide win I'm sure.
Personally I would have liked to see Hillary up there... but either one of them is better than what we've lived with for almost a decade. ...the majority of people have been pulling so hard for the both of them ((McCain who?!)) that I think it would best serve the citizens to have her alongside him on the ballot.
