I'm home today--Nicholas' ear isn't aching, but he still has a cough. :(
It's March!
Is it just me, or is this year just speeding by a little too fast? Perhaps it's because my birthday is approaching rather too quickly for my taste. I just realized that my kids are going to be out of school in a matter of only a few months. Actually, I'm looking forward to when my son Andrew is out of school for the summer. I'm going to work 4 10 hour days and have a 3 day weekend. 10 hour days really aren't too bad--I've done it before.
It's not raining today, but it sure is chilly outside. I went outside of my front door to call for my cat, and I finally realized how neglected the flowers in my flower pots looked. Eeek... So depressing. I quickly watered them, but I don't know if that is going to do any good. I think they are basically dead at this point.
Sitting around at home, it hard not to want to clean. I moved some stuff that was on top of my fridge, and found the dusty mess layer of yucky dirt atop my fridge. Of course, I need more cleaning products. I'm tempted to drive up to Target right now, but I really don't want to take the little guy outside. It's too cold out there.
Daytime T.V. during the week is the pits. Yesterday I got to see Sylvia Browne on Montel. I don't know about that woman. She comes across a little to vague to me; interesting, but too vague. Besides court shows--(yawn) all there is in Maury Povich, and those really annoying vocational school commercials.. "Get off the couch and get a career! Call now!" These commercials are sooo annoying--those and the car insurance ones: "Call the General!" If it wasn't so cold out, I would go take Nicholas for a walk.
I sent an email to Mr. Ex husband in regards to the plane tickets, and I've been checking the status of my mail. Of course it's still sitting their listed as "unread". Lovely.
I'm so incredibly bored.
St. Patricks Day? Do you celebrate it? I don't believe I have a smidge of Irish in me, but I have cousins that are. Let's see, I have a cousin Kathleen, Maureen....etc.. I've changed my journal colors for them. Ain't I festive?

Hey there! I hope that Nicholas gets better fast. I am not really a Sylvia fan either...but John Edward, I love. This year is totally going by too fast!!!

Oh my god, I just noticed the Mona Lisa sticking her tongue out on your sidebar and spit seltzer on myself. Glad Nicholas isn't hurting. I have no idea who Sylvia Brown is. I am half Irish and love the ending picture on this entry. The green is very festive and a reminder that spring really will be here soon.--Cin
We dont have to be Irish to celebrate, just drink the green beer!
Flowers in a pot? Geez, we have more inches of snow coming down today! Phooey!
