Sadly, one of my favorite music icons from the 1980's got in trouble with the law, yet again!
Apparently, for his community service hours, George will be on a sanitation crew, picking up garbage on a highway. He'll be the tall, chubby guy in the orange jumpsuit, wearing the funny hat, with mascara on. Actually, I don't think they will let him wear a hat, so he'll be the chubby, tall, bald guy in the orange jumpsuit with mascara on...
Ain't it sad?
Oh well, he can still apply makeup better than I can. I'm sure he'll look the "prettiest" on the garbage crew!
Let's take a look back at some of the 1980's icons today...
George Michael was arrested for indecent behavior, and just recently got stopped for being under the influence with a trunk full of sex toys. And what is it with this feud between him and Sir Elton John?
Axel Rose is biting people, the once "goody goody" Whitney Houston is a druggie and we won't even start with Michael Jackson..
Madonna looks good--actually, she looks awesome, but I think she is fooling herself to think she is going to remain the queen of pop forever. Okay girl, um... may be it's time to get off the cross, and retire soon?
Just don't make another movie please! Thank God we have people like Bono from U2, and Cyndi Lauper still...even Billy Idol looks okay to me, anyway...
Can any of you think of anyone else from the 80's that is alive and still doing well?

I think 'The Purple One' is still doing pretty well for himself. And you are right.... Lauper looks great ( highly underrated, in my estimation. I'd take her over Madonna in a second.) And let's hope that they let George keep the hat. Tina
YES--PRINCE!!! I saw him perform on T.V. not too long ago, and I was pretty impressed by him. Thanks for remembering--I'll have to update this entry and include the Purple One!!!
