My older son is home from school.. He is suffering the usual allergy symptons that my daughter has. She however went to school. To tell you the truth, I didn't get much sleep either. Lizzy worked from 7:30 until 1 am last night, getting the store floor ready for the holiday shopping. I was sleeping soundly until the phone rang at a quarter to 1, but afterwards, I just couldn't get back to sleep. I kept hearing my son getting up at night, and my youngest was tossing and turning.. I should know better not to throw a party on a Sunday expecting to be all bright and chiper the next morning...
The weekend was fun.. Lots of family and friends over to celebrate Nicholas' 3rd birthday. Of course, there were a few people missing, but, unfortunately there are a few things I have no control over. And because I want to stay in a positive note, I really shouldn't get into it right now and write about it. Let's just say it's all "my fault" and get over it. Yes, life is too short to be playing games, and pointing fingers. It's also too short to blame all your bitterness, and misfortune, and uncontrolable events on someone. If it makes you feel better to put someone to blame, instead of yourself, I can take it. I'm so evil...and one self serving B...tch... (rhymes with Ditch). I'm so evil, I can't even swear. I've written, and deleted twice so far in this entry. I have to walk on egg shells sometimes.
Christmas is coming, and let's exchange Christmas cards! I got Lisa Jo's address, and I'm thrilled. I don't think I've ever gotten a card from Ohio before. Let's exchange cards---e-cards are so impersonal... :) Send me an email with your address and lets make the exchange!! Positive stuff..
I do love the holiday season, I just don't like the stress that comes with it sometimes. I'm not doing the shopping after Thanksgiving route. No, thanks.. I'll do the Veterans Day thing instead..ha ha ha.. Hopefully my daughter won't be working. I don't particularly like shopping by myself.
Okay, sick child is calling my name, and Nick wants to get out of his high chair.. Until later :)
