YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2006 when...

YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2006 when...  (I got this in an email today at work, and I thought I would share it with you..)

                                       DsDesignsLookingforHome.gif

 1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.

 2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.

 3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of
     three.

 4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.

   5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and
family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.

   6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to
see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.

   7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom
       of the screen.

   8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't
have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic
and you turn around to go and get it .

   10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting
          your coffee

    11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile.  : )

    12. You're reading this and nodding and laughing.

    13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to
          forward this message.

     14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.

     15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a
           #9 on this list.

AND NOW  U R  LAUGHING at yourself.

Go on, forward this to your friends - you know you want to

Thanks to D's Designs for the graphic...

It's raining here in again.  I actually love rain.  I like walking in it, I like hearing the rain hit the window, I even enjoy watching it falling down, I like singing in it, dancing in it (yes I do that sometimes)  BUT, I HATE driving in it--especially when it's dark outside.  My commute can be kind of scary--there is always an idiot who refuses to slow down on the road.  I'll be driving over the speed limit, in the rain, and there will always be some idiot riding my bumper..  I guess I should just be thankful it isn't snowing.

The EX surprised my kids with a call.  I immediately remembered that he will undoubtly be shoveling snow soon.  Lucky guy.

It's Friday!!  HURRAH!!  I am going to try and make a dent in my shopping for my busy weekend...  Take care and have a fun one!!

Regarding #8..I've had a cell phone for over 9 years and the reason why I originally got it was because of the anxiety attacks I had while driving. I had less knowing I could call someone, because of it.

I thought that my husband was the only person in the world who does #6. Thanks for letting me know he is just part of a trend. This was funny. I do know who I will email it to now.

(smiles) I've read this before, but i still think it just so funny and so true! Imagine what technology will be like in another 20 years!
I personally hate having to remember so many stupid pin numbers for so many dumb things!

Hope you enjoyed your weekend, i know, its over too soon!
